Children Are Like Angels

Acts 27:23 For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve.

Anchors in your life are always necessary, and the storms of life can never hide the face of God.  You never go through anything alone, because the presence of God is always available for you.  Pay attention to God’s purpose in your life because you need to have a sense of destiny.

You may not understand where He is taking you, but as you trust in Him, you’ll not be let down.  Picture in your mind a man who falls off a cliff in the dark.  As he falls he passes a tree, and grabs a lower branch.  He calls for help and someone tells him to let go and drop.  Not knowing how far it’s to the bottom, he asks for a second opinion.  If he knows he is only two feet from the ground, he will gladly let go.

Many times the answers you are looking for are within reach, but you cling to the problem.  Ask God for instructions, then let Him help you, let go!

While you are here, check out the following children's book which will bless your children.

Title: Changed by a Catch
By: Amy Crowe
A CBM Christian Book Review
10.0 out of 10.0 stars

Changed by a Catch by Amy B. Crowe teaches valuable lessons of obedience and safety to young children, instilling in them a desire to follow directions from their parents. Highlighting safety rules such as what to do when a stranger comes to your door, giving out privileged information, the importance of obeying your parents, even if it doesn’t seem important to you and not to make judgments upon others’ differences highlights just some of J.J.’s life-lessons after he is changed by a catch thrown by his sister (out of all people). Cute, funny and wholesome, this story offers a balanced look at discipline with a loving touch, opening the way for parents and children to
softly talk about the importance of safety and following the rules.

This story will delight parents, (and make kids and parents alike chuckle). Little J.J. is sweet and sincere and he just can’t believe some of the messes that landed him into time out, time away from video games and grounded him for a month. Written from J.J.'s perspective, we find the inner-workings of a little boy learning about life. The author invites you into the story from the beginning and readers will be captivated by J.J. as he begins his story while having his head stuck between the rails of a staircase.

This book quickly became one of my favorite books for children, as the author encompasses facets of sound parenting that embrace communication in a fair and calm manner without guilt and condemnation. Children will learn from J.J. the reason why it is important to listen and do what your parents say the first time.

Changed by a Catch comes highly recommended for both boys and girls (ages 6 to 12) and is a fun way for parents and children to engage in learning life lessons in a fun way. The book is available at Amazon or in Kindle and at other fine online bookstores.
